March 21: International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination

Labour Council and Urban Alliance on Race Relations are holding a special forum in the Council Chambers at Toronto City Hall on Tuesday March 21st. The shocking events in the United States, Quebec and Ontario remind us of how important it is to build a strong movement to fight racism, Islamophobia and bigotry.

Where: Council Chamber, Toronto City Hall
When: Tuesday, March 21st (7:00 – 9:00 p.m.)

Speakers include CLC President Hassan Yussuff, Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam, Imam Ibrahim Hindy, Anthony Morgan and Indigenous Elder Catherine Brooks.

This will be a unique opportunity to help shape an action plan for use in every union and every community. Bring your workmates, friends and family!
