Local 79’s annual picnic was held at Toronto Centre Island on Thursday, July 21st. Members were treated to a beautiful, hot summer day and enjoyed activities for children and discounted admission to the Centreville amusement park. Take a look at the photos below!
On Thursday, February 17th, 2016, CUPE Local 79 celebrated Black History Month 2016 by holding an event to honour and reflect on the extraordinary life of Peter Marcelline, who passed away on October 4th, 2015.
