The Distillery District is pleased to host CUPE Local 79 annual summer theatre campaign “Chill With Will”, a presentation starring Toronto’s first mayor William Lyon Mackenzie! Period-dressed actors will give impromptu street performances throughout the afternoon along the cobblestone lanes of The Distillery District telling the tales of life during William Lyon Mackenzie’s time.

Stop by and meet characters from the city’s past! “Chill With Will”, features a professional cast of actors and was written by accomplished Canadian playwright Steven Shehori, former lead comedy writer for This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Huffington Post, and The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos. This is the first of two “Chill With Will” performances that will be staged outdoors at The Distillery District throughout July.

Visit us again on July 28 for “Chill With Will” stage performances at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm that day!
